Autobiography I am Gila. I was born in Santon Hospital, Johannesburg, South Africa in the month of July in 1993, first born to my parents and grandparents. I lived in South Africa for half of my life, 8 years, surrounded by my family, my sister Rachel and friends. In the year of 2002 my parents made the best decision of their life and of mine- to make Aliya. It was decided that we will come to Gush-Etzion. My brother Hillel was born here in Israel after we had celebrated our first year in this beautiful land. I studied in the regional elementary school in Alon Shvut, and I now go to Neve Chana High school also in Alon Shvut. I love Animals, I have an 8 year old Maltese Poodle and a 2 year old tabby cat and I once used to own 3 gold fish. In my spare time I like to read, cook and bake, as well as vegetate in front of the T.V or computer. I have the most busiest schedule- I dance on Sundays, finish school at 17.30 on Mondays, volunteer in MDA(Magen David Adom- Israeli emergency paramedic service) on Tuesdays, sleep at school on Wednesdays and on Thursdays I stay late at school so that I can learn for exams and do my homework. I love going to the Jerusalem mall for a good hours worth of shopping or just sitting by the phone talking to a good friend. I believe in the saying that goes:" if you can't beat then, join them". It usually works…Try it!!
